JOB SUMMARY

The Title I Director provides leadership and oversight for the school system’s federal programs, including:

• Title I, Part A – Academic Achievement Awards
• Title I, Part C – Migrant Education
• Title I, Part D – Neglected & Delinquent Education
• Title X – Homeless Education

This role ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations, promotes effective intervention programs, and works to improve the quality of educational services in Title I schools. The Director is responsible for program planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, as well as managing budgets in alignment with district goals and school improvement plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Georgia Teaching Certification (minimum T-5)
• Valid Georgia Leadership Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience coordinating program services
• Minimum 3 years of school or district-level administrative experience
• Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills
• Proven experience with Title I program management
• Ability to interpret and implement federal laws, state rules, and local policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
