Description Training Director – Multifamily Property Management Location: Austin, Texas (On-Site) Portfolio: 55+ communities | 14,500 units Are you a dynamic training professional with a passion for developing talent in the multifamily housing industry? We are seeking a Training Director to join our growing team in Austin, Texas. This on-site leadership role will serve as a Co-Director of Training, partnering with another Training Director to lead learning and development initiatives across a diverse portfolio of more than 55 communities and 14,500 units. About the Role The Training Director will play a key leadership role within our Training & Development Department, partnering with a fellow Training Director to design, implement, and enhance high-impact learning programs for onsite and corporate team members. Together, the Training Directors will collaborate closely with operations, HR, and senior leadership to ensure our teams are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to drive exceptional performance and resident satisfaction. This position requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about developing people, improving operational performance, and strengthening training programs across a large multifamily portfolio. Key Responsibilities Co-lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training programs across leasing, operations, customer experience, and leadership development. Facilitate engaging in-person training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs for new hires and existing staff. Collaborate with fellow Training Director to assess department needs and deploy strategic training initiatives across 55+ communities. Partner with operations and HR leadership to align training programs with company goals, policies, and performance expectations. Lead technology platform training, including property management systems, CRM tools, and internal operational processes. Conduct property visits to ensure training consistency, observe performance, and provide targeted coaching and support to onsite teams. Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, performance metrics, and feedback from property and corporate teams. Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and digital learning content, including e-learning modules. Serve as a trusted resource for onsite teams seeking guidance on best practices, policies, and operational procedures. Promote a culture of continuous learning, development, and operational excellence throughout the organization. Qualifications Proven experience within a multifamily property management training department is required. Minimum 5+ years of training and development experience within the multifamily industry. Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to confidently lead both large and small groups. Deep understanding of multifamily operations, leasing practices, and industry standards. Experience designing training programs, working with LMS platforms, and applying adult learning principles. Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
