Symple Lending is an innovative fintech company committed to revolutionizing the lending industry. Our mission is to provide seamless, efficient, and accessible lending solutions. We are now seeking a Director of Training that will ensure our sales teams have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed from day one.
The Director of Training is responsible for leading the company’s training delivery function, managing a Training Manager and Training Facilitator. This role works closely with Sales Leadership and the Learning & Development (L&D) team to ensure all training content is current, engaging, and aligned with business goals. This is a leadership role that balances people management, operational oversight, and hands-on facilitation when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all new hire onboarding for sales hires, ensuring smooth ramp-up and performance readiness.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to identify training needs and adjust programs accordingly.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Training Manager and Facilitator, ensuring consistent and high-quality training delivery.
  • Ensure training is aligned with compliance and industry regulations for debt settlement.
  • Monitor training KPIs (e.g., ramp-up time, retention, conversion rates) and implement improvements.
  • Partner with L&D to ensure all training materials are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Occasionally step in to deliver or co-facilitate training sessions as needed.
  • Maintain an efficient training schedule to meet monthly hiring demands.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in training leadership, preferably in high-volume sales environments.
  • Direct experience in debt settlement or a similar financial services industry (required).
  • Proven success managing training teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, L&D, and Operations.
  • Data-driven approach to training effectiveness and optimization.
