Position Overview: The Director of Training & Workforce Development is a corporate-level leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide training strategies across all company operations. This hybrid position is based in Hagerstown, MD, with primarily remote responsibilities along with periodic travel to other operational sites to support program implementation, training oversight, and workforce readiness initiatives, as needed. This role ensures all corporate and contract-specific training programs meet compliance requirements, align with operational objectives, and support consistent, high-quality performance across all projects. Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Training Program Development & Delivery Develop, implement, and oversee company-wide training programs that support operational goals, workforce readiness, and contract requirements. Create training materials and coordinate virtual, classroom, and field-based instruction. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation Ensure training programs comply with applicable federal, state, local, and contract-specific requirements. Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation. Workforce Development & Leadership Support employee onboarding, professional development, leadership training, and succession planning initiatives. Provide guidance and support to managers, instructors, and operational staff. Operational Readiness & Safety Oversee training related to safety, security, emergency response, and operational preparedness. Support drills, exercises, and readiness initiatives across company operations. Performance Management & Continuous Improvement Evaluate training effectiveness, identify skill gaps, and implement improvements based on data, feedback, and operational needs. Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Field Support Partner with corporate leadership, program managers, and clients to identify training needs and ensure contract compliance. Travel as needed to support training implementation, audits, and workforce development initiatives. Required Qualifications & Core Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of experience in training, corrections, safety, facility operations, or law enforcement. Ability to obtain and maintain facility security clearance. Leadership and communication Attention to detail and documentation accuracy Emergency response and crisis management Analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to train staff at all levels Desired Skills: Experience in law enforcement or in a correctional or detention environment. Experience with emergency management or incident command systems (ICS/NIMS). Conditions of Employment: Employees must be a U.S. Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the following screening: Federal background investigation (up to and including a Tier 4 DHS clearance) Criminal history check Verification of employment and education history Compliance with all government credentialing requirements Drug Screening Employees must adhere to all federal security, confidentiality, and operational protocols while working within government facilities. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English Anovaeon operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays Must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Internal background check to the satisfaction of contract requirements. If applicable, Child Abuse/ Neglect Report (CAN) or child protective services check with no adverse findings.
