As a state designated First Responder, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice is playing a crucial role in the response to Hurricane Ian, exhibiting our unwavering commitment to those in need.   Overview The Director of the Unmet Needs Long-term Recovery Group will oversee and coordinate the long-term disaster recovery efforts for Lee County. This includes developing and implementing uniform procedures, systems, and practices to address the ongoing needs of disaster-affected communities and monitoring and evaluating progress toward recovery goals. The Director will work closely with Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice (CCDOV) and a collaborative network of organizations and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach is used to achieve project goals. The Director will report to the CCDOV Resource and Recovery Director and will supervise project staff to ensure efficient daily operations.   Responsibilities: * Organize, plan, and facilitate meetings and sub-committee meetings of the LTRG. * Develop and implement a strategic plan for the long-term recovery efforts of Lee County. * Facilitate the alignment of existing outcomes, goals, and objectives. * Facilitate the development of shared performance targets & measurements, measurement practices/systems. * Compile performance and community data and develop a quality assurance/quality control procedure to monitor performance. * Assure communication of group activities and progress. * Research and mobilize grant opportunities aligned with the LTRG goals. * Facilitate the ongoing development of partnerships across group members and sub-committees. * Create, develop, and facilitate the Unmet Needs Table. * Coordinate and facilitate collaboration, training, and technical assistance among members. * Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, including all security, privacy, and data quality guidelines. * Develop clear eligibility criteria and utilize a centralized intake and referral system for disaster survivors. * Monitor and evaluate progress through regular reporting, tracking of key performance indicators, and conducting periodic assessments of the effectiveness of the group's activities. * Establish clear communication channels to ensure everyone is informed of important updates and decisions. * Ensure data management and reporting systems provide useful data to assess the efficiency and accountability of the collective effort. * Plan and host monthly community disaster education and awareness events.  * Other duties as assigned.  Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Disaster Management, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, or related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in disaster management, community development, or related field. * Experience in program administration, development, implementation, management, and evaluation. * Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising staff. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and community members. * Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people to achieve common goals. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. * Experience in grant writing and fundraising. * Knowledge of state, local, and federal regulations related to disaster management. * Valid FL Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel. * Ability to pass a Level II background screening.
