Description
About Wynn Al Marjan Island: On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf. About the Position: Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Director of VIP Services to join the resort’s Food & Beverage team. The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are: * Oversee the end-to-end VIP guest journey, ensuring seamless, high-touch service from pre-arrival planning through to post-departure follow-up across all resort touchpoints.  * Develop and implement VIP service standards, protocols, and training programs to ensure consistency and excellence across all F&B venues, residential accommodations, and event spaces.  * Serve as the F&B and service quality lead for all VIP touchpoints within the Enclave portfolio, ensuring a residential, anticipatory level of service that reflects Wynn's design sensibility and commitment. * Provide strategic F&B oversight for all VIP events, private celebrations, and high-profile functions across the resort's Events & Celebrations Center. * Provide direct oversight of the F&B Licensing Manager and the end-to-end licensing function for all F&B operations, ensuring full compliance with RAKTDA, UAE federal law, and Wynn internal standards.  * Own the licensing roadmap for restaurants, bars/lounges, in-venue service points, storage areas, kitchens, outdoor spaces, and event venues — covering trade/operational licenses, hospitality alcohol licenses, health & hygiene certificates, music/entertainment permits, signage, and outdoor seating approvals. * Collaborate with Hotel Sales, Catering & Events, and Culinary teams to deliver extraordinary catering and event experiences that reflect Wynn's signature elegance, cultural richness, and flawless execution.  * Oversee VIP event coordination for destination weddings (including multi-day Indian wedding journeys), corporate events, gala dinners, and lifestyle activations.  * Act as the VIP experience ambassador across all 22 F&B outlets, ensuring VIP recognition, preference management, and elevated service standards are consistently executed across the full portfolio. * Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resources to ensure operational efficiency and service quality across VIP Services, Licensing, and event-related F&B functions.  * Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and Wynn brand standards in all VIP interactions and communications.    About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).  * 8–10 years of experience in luxury hospitality, guest relations, or VIP services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.  * Proven track record of managing high-profile clientele and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced integrated resort or luxury property environment.  * Experience in luxury resorts, private clubs, high-end entertainment venues, or integrated resort operations is highly desirable.  * Demonstrable experience with F&B licensing, regulatory compliance, and government authority liaison — ideally within the UAE or GCC region.  * Experience overseeing events and celebrations in a luxury hospitality setting, including destination weddings, corporate functions, and lifestyle activations.  * Familiarity with residential/estate-level service programming (private dining, butler service, in-residence F&B) is a strong advantage.  * Deep understanding of luxury service standards and VIP guest expectations across diverse cultural backgrounds.  * Strong leadership, team development, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.  * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.  * High emotional intelligence and discretion when dealing with sensitive or high-profile matters.  * Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., SevenRooms), guest management tools, POS platforms, and service analytics.  * Multilingual abilities and cultural sensitivity are a plus; Arabic language skills are an advantage given the UAE context.    About Wynn Al Marjan Island’s Benefits: We offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE. In addition, we offer an excellent leave policy, a healthcare package and as well as incentive programs, and other employee benefits. The result is a package that makes this role highly attractive to outstanding applicants seeking a career with Wynn Resorts, among the most renowned and celebrated brands in the global hospitality industry.
