We are currently seeking a strategic, innovative and inspirational Director of Wellness and Outdoor Pursuits to join our Leadership Team.
From fishing and shooting to riding and an exceptional range of country pursuits, Gleneagles offers the finest activity holidays Scotland has to offer—an invigorating escape into the heart of the Highlands.
You’ll love the great outdoors as much as we do, and relish leading adventure alongside relaxation. Our World of Wellness showcases our serene Spa, a haven of tranquillity designed to melt away everyday stresses, with rejuvenation in our Swim Gym spaces. Bob Cloche, our elegant beauty lodge, adds a touch of indulgence.
Our Director of Wellness and Pursuits also provides consultancy support to the Pursuits offering at our sister property, Estelle Manor, an exquisite country house hotel and private members’ club in Oxfordshire.

Responsibilities
  • Providing strategic oversight and direction across diverse teams and areas, ensuring a strong commercial focus. At the same time, you’ll be a visible, hands-on leader, actively engaged in operational execution
  • Leading projects from concept to business planning and successful execution, with a deep understanding of the Gleneagles brand, our experiential ethos, always with a well-defined perspective on luxury in our environment
  • Driving revenue and profitability success in a dynamic, high-volume, and multi-faceted leisure business at scale
  • Tapping into the nuances of each area, you’ll unite your teams under a clear vision, ensuring both exceptional quality and unwavering consistency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Striving to see our service through our guests’ eyes, you’ll take every opportunity to ensure their Gleneagles experience is exceptional
  • Recognising that communication is central to ensuring our values and promises are fulfilled, you’ll coach and support your team inspiring all to do their best work always
  • Setting the tone and leading by example, you’ll be developing a team culture where your team feel valued and convey this warmth and thoughtfulness to others through the delivery of exceptional service.
  • Disseminating key insights from guest data, you’ll use this to celebrate success and drive continuous improvement across our offering, inspiring your teams to further develop and enhance our guest experience
  • You’ll consistently assess each area’s current ways of working, driving change, process improvement and innovation, increasing productivity, and embedding service excellence at every touch point across the guest journey, ensuring each one continues to evolve and elevate its practice
