About the Role: The Director of Winemaking is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the winemaking process to ensure the production of high-quality wines that align with the brand's vision and market expectations. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Enology, Viticulture, Food Science, or a related field. * Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in winemaking, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. * Demonstrated expertise in all phases of winemaking, including fermentation, blending, and aging. * Strong knowledge of vineyard management and grape varietals. * Proven ability to manage teams and lead cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: * Master’s degree in Enology, Viticulture, or related discipline. * Experience working in diverse wine regions within the United States. * Familiarity with sustainable and organic winemaking practices. * Proficiency in wine laboratory analysis and quality control technologies. * Experience with budget management and capital project planning.
