JOB SUMMARY

Downtown Hope is seeking a passionate and mission-minded individual to join our team as the Director of Worship and Creative Arts. We’ve listed some of the responsibilities that this role would entail, but we are really looking for someone that is artistically talented and creative (music, graphic design, media, etc.), tech-savvy, and an organized, proven leader. Most importantly, we want someone who is eager to be discipled and to make disciples alongside the Downtown Hope family. An aspiration for vocational ministry and leadership is desired, though not required.

EXPERIENCE AND OTHER KEY DETAILS

• Ideally 3+ years leading worship in a church
• Apparent and relatively mature relationship with Jesus
• Must be committed to Downtown Hope’s vision and contributing to the body
• Reports to: Executive Director
• Schedule: At minimum, half-time in-office; up to full-time
• Monthly pay schedule; compensation will be based on experience, artistic ability, and leadership potential – growth opportunities are not only available, but encouraged and incentivized
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  Pay: $36,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
  Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

• Worship team leadership – leading and / or orchestrating worship for Sunday gatherings
• Production and tech – building and operating our production suite to deliver excellent lights, audio, and video that enhances and supports our vision
• Content generation and curation – encouraging the artistic gifts of the body to generate meaningful and inspiring content for display in the space or digitally and online
• Team / volunteer management – passionately leading our ministry teams associated with the creative arts, worship, and media
