Job Description The On-Air Graphics Director will lead strategic initiatives and conduct daily business. Work with internal and external teams to develop and maintain graphics department operations for on-air broadcasts, graphics creation, and distribution. Identify and spearhead new opportunities. This role will support both studio and remote productions. Qualifications Responsibilities Take responsibility for the full end-to-end creative and graphics delivery workflows Continually monitor the performance of and address any technology needs of the department Co-ordinate across company divisions to maintain business continuity Manage third party relationships Conduct interviews and onboard new hires Lead a team of managers and work towards department goals Support the project management team in all aspects Plan out staffing schedules and resources Set & track budgets Collaborate with Art Directors to guide and facilitate the creative process Collaborate with show-side staff to set expectations, timelines and budgets as it pertains to their particular needs, shepherding projects from the build phase (pre-air) to the support phase (on-air support) QUALIFICATIONS – Basic Requirements: Minimum (8) years’ experience working at a network or broadcast design agency Desired Characteristics: Strategic thinker with strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent negotiation ability to influence across all levels, both inside and outside the organization Self-starter with exceptional organizational, project, and management skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Innovative mindset with positive energy and flexibility. Ability to lead and motivate direct reports and cross-functional teams.
