About the Role The Director of Operational Strategy-ECD leads a team of Operational Strategy Managers and owns the Early Clinical Development pipeline. The Director partners closely with BD, Sales Operations, Delivery Team to shape differentiators, evaluate operational and financial risk, and ensure the organization is prepared to deliver on commitments for Early Phase Clinical Development studies. Responsibilities * Lead operational strategy team and set the strategic direction, frameworks, and standards for operational narratives * Represent operational strategy in executive-level reviews, business development meetings and leadership discussions. * Evaluate operational and financial risk across the entire portfolio. * Review complex bid models, staffing structures, and operational assumptions.  * Guide strategic pricing considerations in partnership with finance and BD. * Govern the quality, consistency, and accuracy of all operational strategy deliverables, ensuring documentation is audit-ready and aligned with commercial and operational standards * Ensure data integrity and consistency across strategy materials and models. * Oversee adoption of strategy tools, modeling frameworks, and knowledge repositories.  Experience and Qualifications * 10+ years of CRO experience  * Experience with RFP response and Opportunity lifecycle management * Experience managing teams * Must have experience running ANZ Early phase studies and familiarity with EU studies is preferable * Strong executive communication and cross-functional influencing skills with experience partnering with senior leadership on strategic decisions. * Advanced risk assessment, and narrative development capabilities. * Proven ability to manage portfolio * Background in operational leadership, delivery management, or commercial strategy.  * Experience developing frameworks, standards, or capability-building programs Novotech is proud to offer a great workplace.
