Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Direct, manage, create, and execute the Company's global manufacturing operations, including production, equipment and planning teams. This includes: Day to day management of operation, insuring the highest on-time delivery, while achieving the lowest cost basis, driving the cost of quality down in the process, using qualified processes, maintaining a trained work force, and providing a capability for new process and product development and introduction in an environmentally and occupationally safe environment while meeting all federal and local government codes, including at international facilities. Long term responsibilities include: capacity planning, capital equipment forecasting, technology improvements, raw material planning, work force planning, the matching of production assets globally with the marketing and business development plans to achieve the goal top supplier of designated manufacturing sites. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. An MBA or relevant master’s degree is often preferred. 15+ years’ experience in the same or similar industry (assembly, fabrication, clean environment, etc.). Typically requires 7+ years of leading international operations. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale operations. Experience in developing and executing operational strategies aligned with business goals. Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated success in optimizing processes, reducing costs, and improving KPIs. Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle) and data analytics tools. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. Ability to make data-driven decisions to improve operational performance Cultural awareness and ability to work in diverse, cross-border teams. Experience with digital transformation or automation initiatives is a plus. Skills Ability to anticipate and handle multiple priorities and complex issues involving external and internal customer priorities under time constraints Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and ability to comprehend (including technical concepts) and communicate at a high level with internal and external customers and suppliers Understand the regulations that apply to commerce, health and safety at the local, state and federal levels for the products and service provided Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency Self-driven ability and strong execution capability.
