As a senior leader within Global Operations, you will oversee Lam Manufacturing Malaysia, our largest and most strategic site and play a critical role in driving operational excellence and regional expansion. Reporting to the Site General Manager, you will lead factory operations and collaborate with global stakeholders across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Finance, and Order Fulfillment. Your leadership will be instrumental in building a resilient organization that consistently delivers on Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery while shaping the future of Lam’s manufacturing footprint in Asia. What you’ll do Lead factory operations across Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality, instilling a culture of safety, accountability, and performance. Drive innovation and continuous improvement through strategic transformation initiatives and long-term operational roadmaps. Partner with the Site General Manager to execute site strategy, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and growth objectives. Collaborate with global factories and pilot operations to support product and technology transitions and ramp-ups. Develop and implement succession planning to build a strong leadership pipeline and ensure long-term organizational success. Champion Lam’s values and culture, fostering engagement, trust, and collaboration across all levels. Communicate effectively with diverse audiences from factory floor to senior executives, with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight. Advocate for employee wellness and inclusion, reinforcing LMM’s reputation as a workplace of choice. Serve as an active member of the global Manufacturing leadership team, sharing best practices and supporting enterprise-wide risk mitigation. Who we’re looking for Proven leadership in high-volume manufacturing operations, ideally within the semiconductor or advanced technology sectors. Minimum 10 years in senior executive roles within a multinational corporation (MNC), with demonstrated success in scaling operations and leading transformation. Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities, with a track record of delivering measurable results. Experience operating in a matrixed global organization and managing culturally diverse teams. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership skills. Proven leadership within Malaysia’s industrial, regulatory, and cultural landscape. Willingness to travel up to 25% and work across time zones. Preferred qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (required); Master’s degree (MBA, Engineering, or Operational discipline) preferred. Experience in greenfield startups or leading through periods of rapid growth. Lean / Six Sigma certification with demonstrated expertise in data-driven decision-making and scientific problem-solving. Globally experienced, culturally sensitive, and adept at leading transformational change.
