The opportunity We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director-Patient Administration to lead and transform the patient experience across Cabrini Malvern. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping how patients engage with our services—from admission through to discharge. You will lead high-performing teams across all patient-facing administrative functions, ensuring seamless, efficient, and compassionate service delivery. With a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement, you will drive operational excellence, optimise patient flow, and elevate service standards to deliver an exceptional end-to-end patient journey. Key responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership across all patient services functions Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams delivering frontline administrative services Oversee patient admissions, documentation, Medicare and Health Fund processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Champion a culture of exceptional, patient-centred service Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the patient journey Partner with clinical and operational leaders to optimise patient flow and service delivery Use data and insights to drive performance, inform decision-making, and support continuous improvement Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulatory requirements About you You are an experienced healthcare leader with a passion for service excellence and a track record of driving meaningful change. You bring both strategic insight and operational expertise, along with the ability to inspire teams and influence outcomes across a complex environment. You will have: Proven leadership experience in healthcare administration or patient services Strong knowledge of hospital operations, including admissions, billing, and funding models Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills A commitment to delivering outstanding patient-centred care Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and improve operational performance Why Cabrini?
