JOB OVERVIEW:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Director Patient Care Perioperative Services for RWJ Somerset Medical Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSN Required, MSN Preferred.
• Current New Jersey RN Licensure
• BLS required. (American Heart Association)
• ACLS required (American Heart Association)
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting is required

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time 40 hours per week

• Staff includes RN’s, CNA’s & Unit Secretaries.
• Director will oversee the staffing, budget & quality measures
• An integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ Somerset
• Responsibility for team that supports daily essential patient care
• Responsible through managers and supervisors for the overall operation of all assigned departments namely Preadmission Testing, Same Day Surgery and Operating Room.
  This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
