We’re looking for a mission-driven Director, Payment Governance and Controls, Finance who is passionate about creating more accessible, inclusive, and equitable communities across Canada where people with low vision have unlimited opportunities and can experience life free from barriers and discrimination.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience of progressive leadership experience finance operations, and/or accounting or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise financial systems (i.e. NetSuite, Concur, Centre Suite) and payment automation tools.
  • Proven track record in transforming AP/AR operations, implementing controls and managing compliance within complex organizations.
  • Experience working with government funding, charitable operations and multi-entity structures is an asset.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), financial modeling and dashboard building.
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross functional stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
  • Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.
