Reporting to the Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO), this role will be pivotal in shaping the future of workforce strategy and enhancing business outcomes through data-driven insights. This leader will collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to drive a human capital analytics strategy that not only informs organizational decisions but also creates sustainable, transformative change. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Leadership & Innovation: Develop and execute a global people analytics strategy that aligns with Snowflake’s business objectives and positions the company as a leader in data-driven decision-making. Champion the integration of people analytics into organizational strategies, serving as a trusted partner to the CHRO, C-suite, and senior leaders. Lead the design and execution of innovative solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technology and data science to address strategic workforce challenges such as employee engagement, retention, DEI, and workforce planning. Shape and drive digital innovations in people analytics, ensuring the function remains agile, scalable, and impactful. Business Alignment & Value Creation: Partner closely with HR and business leaders to connect people data with business outcomes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering measurable impact. Apply design thinking principles to develop and scale people analytics programs that improve both employee and business experiences. Build frameworks and processes to translate data and insights into meaningful actions, enabling leaders to make informed, strategic decisions at pace. Data & Analytics Expertise: Own the end-to-end people analytics lifecycle, including data governance, reporting, employee sentiment analysis, predictive modeling, and experimentation. Leverage Snowflake’s advanced data platform to develop scalable solutions that integrate people analytics with enterprise-wide analytics efforts. Evaluate and implement leading-edge tools and technologies to advance Snowflake’s People analytics capabilities. Leadership & Collaboration: Build and lead a high-performing people analytics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and innovation. Collaborate with global teams to address challenges in emerging markets, delivering insights that drive international growth and success. Serve as a strategic partner and relationship-builder, inspiring trust and confidence across the organization and aligning analytics efforts with broader business goals. Operational Excellence & Change Leadership: Drive business process improvement and operational excellence by developing scalable processes and workflows that support Snowflake’s growth. Lead change management initiatives to embed a culture of data fluency and analytics across HR and the broader organization. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., data science, statistics, business analytics) or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in people analytics, data science, or management consulting, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic outcomes. Proven experience leading analytics functions in high-growth, global organizations, with an emphasis on scaling programs and delivering measurable business value. Leadership & Strategic Thinking: Exceptional systems thinker with a proven ability to develop and deliver innovative, holistic solutions to complex business challenges. Strong executive presence, with a track record of influencing C-suite leaders and aligning analytics initiatives with organizational strategy. Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning, embracing challenges, and fostering creativity in problem-solving. Technical Expertise: Expertise in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools, with strong proficiency in SQL. Experience working with HR systems and integrating large datasets into scalable, actionable insights. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
