Job Description JOB PURPOSE The Director, People & Culture promotes employee satisfaction, ensures compliance with local and federal employment and labor laws, and maintains the highest level of standards in the luxury environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversees the administrative activities of payroll, benefits, legal compliance and employment law - Development of HR and Training budget - Implements guidelines, policies, and procedures in compliance with corporate direction - Develop a recruitment / selection strategy and mobility process - Encourages the development of team members to achieve their highest potential - Creates and implements an integration and training strategy that brings efficiency to team members performance - Supports operations and assists in achieving team member and guest satisfaction goals - Coaches management on handling and resolving performance issues in the hotel - Manages and implements the performance appraisal review system - Is an integral part of the business team, attends all scheduled meetings and contributes actively with proper preparation - Interviews, selects, trains, appraises, coaches, counsels and disciplines departmental team members/ managers according to company standards - Effectively communicates with team members - Evaluate changes and trends in market compensation and makes recommendations - Measures team members satisfaction through surveys, round tables, and one-on-ones with team members - Anticipates and addresses employee relations matters, responds timely to team members - inquiries and is proactive in promoting team member satisfaction - Be an inspiration to all hotel team members to achieve luxury levels of performance - Interacts in a positive way with other departments to ensure a luxury guest experience - Ensures compliance with local health and safety regulations Qualifications 10-15 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role in Thailand-based hotels or companies Fluency in English and Thai language Additional Information Benefits: Life & Health insurance SSO Duty Meals Provident fund Heartist Card
