Responsibilities: Lead People Operations activities for the Bangalore office, including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, compliance, and offboarding. Partner with executive leadership to define organizational structures, workforce plans, and People strategies that align with business goals. Localize global People policies and processes to ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and alignment with cultural expectations. Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and retention through thoughtful programs, manager enablement, and data-driven initiatives. Develop and implement scalable, well-documented HR processes and systems to support a growing regional team. Collaborate cross-functionally with global People teams to ensure consistent experiences while honoring regional needs. Provide coaching and guidance to managers and team leaders on performance, employee relations, and team development. Experience 12+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or Talent leadership roles, with regional or global exposure. Proven track record of building and leading People functions in high-growth or fast-paced environments. Deep understanding of Indian labor laws, HR compliance, and local employment practices. Ability to think strategically while also executing hands-on projects and improvements. Demonstrated success in partnering with executive stakeholders and influencing cross-functional teams. Experience in scaling People programs, improving hiring quality, and reducing attrition. Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills. Familiarity with modern HR systems and tools (e.g., Greenhouse, Confluence, BambooHR) is a plus.
