JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Sales for McKesson’s wholesale distribution business unit will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals who sell to independent pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities within a specified territory. This role requires strategic planning, execution, and leadership skills to drive growth in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and make strategic decisions based on insights.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and retail/hospital buying behavior is preferred but not required
