Responsibilities As part of the health care team, is responsible for setting direction and coordinating the business, finance and 340b activities of the Department of Pharmacy. Drawing on a broad understanding of hospital practices and policies, and displaying a high degree of initiative and independent judgment, will collaborate closely with departmental and organizational leadership to continually assess and direct a wide range of issues related to business operations focusing on contract development and management, 340b processes and procedure, budgetary review of pharmacy spending, cost efficiency and regulatory compliance with health care reimbursement and purchasing. May also provide pharmaceutical care to all patients including, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Assumes administrative role and responsibility for all systems and procedures in designated practice area. Supervises workflow and personnel of designated practice area. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Georgia. Three (3) years hospital Pharmacy experience. Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): 8a-4:30p
