POSITION OVERVIEW • Provides enterprise leadership for pharmacy procurement and sourcing across inpatient, outpatient, retail, infusion, and community hospital settings • Establishes purchasing governance, supplier strategy, and pricing discipline • Ensures reliable medication supply, cost optimization, and operational consistency across the health system COMPENSATION • Salary Range: $180,000 – $230,000 SCHEDULE • Full-time ROLE • Develop and execute pharmacy procurement and sourcing strategy across all sites • Oversee purchasing operations across inpatient, outpatient, infusion, and retail environments • Lead supplier relationships including wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers • Manage vendor performance, contracts, and sourcing strategy • Align procurement with financial controls, inventory planning, and contracting strategy • Identify and implement cost optimization and supply chain efficiency initiatives • Establish procurement metrics and drive data-informed decision making • Collaborate with finance, IT, and pharmacy leadership to ensure operational alignment • Support 340B program strategy and compliance alignment • Lead and develop procurement teams and workforce structure • Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives ENVIRONMENT • Multi-site health system leadership role • Works across inpatient, outpatient, and pharmacy supply chain operations BENEFITS • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • Flexible spending accounts • 403(b) retirement plan with match • Paid time off • Career advancement and professional development opportunities Requirements • Bachelor of Science from an accredited college or university REQUIRED • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in pharmacy supply chain, procurement, or drug sourcing REQUIRED • Experience managing large pharmacy spend portfolios ($1B or greater) REQUIRED • Experience with wholesaler platforms, GPO contracts, and procurement systems REQUIRED • Experience supporting 340B-eligible pharmacy environments REQUIRED • Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or PharmD) preferred • 340B ACE designation preferred Not ready to formally apply?
