SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Director, PMO to drive the success of our project management team. This role is critical to ensure the effective execution of our archiving services, technical solutioning, and continuous process improvement while fostering strong client relationships and maintaining our industry-leading standards for service delivery.
Reporting directly to the VP of Services, the role will oversee sprint planning, support technical solutioning for client projects, manage resource allocation, and serve as the escalation point for both customer and technical challenges. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, project execution, and technical problem-solving to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven leadership experience in a project-based or services environment
  • Strong background in project management and technical solutioning, with experience managing sprints, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred; equivalent experience in structured project management methodologies will be considered
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and client needs, ensuring seamless project execution
  • Experience working in data archiving, or healthcare technology environments is preferred
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%, as needed

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of three Project Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth
  • Manage resource allocation across multiple client accounts, ensuring optimal utilization and project success
  • Provide ongoing training and guidance to ensure the team is well-versed in technical aspects of data archiving, solutioning, and project management best practices
  • Oversee sprint planning and backlog management, ensuring alignment with department, engineering, and client goals
  • Work closely with engineering and data teams to ensure technical feasibility and smooth execution of projects
  • Independently manage a portfolio of projects in addition to leading the PMO team, ensuring successful delivery of assigned client implementations
  • Monitor and adjust resources and schedules as needed to address technical constraints, risk mitigation, and evolving project needs
  • Act as an escalation point for customer and technical issues, providing timely and effective resolutions
  • Partner with clients, engineering, and IT teams to identify and implement technical solutions that meet client requirements
  • Analyze project roadblocks from a technical and operational perspective, ensuring the best path forward
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of department documentation, including guides, templates, and procedures
  • Ensure documentation includes technical solutioning frameworks, troubleshooting guides, and project workflows
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Collaborate with the VP of Services on strategic initiatives, including enhancing technical service delivery, client satisfaction scores, and optimizing resource efficiency
