As Director Pricing & Commercial Strategy, you own one of AutoScout24’s most critical growth levers: how we price, package, and monetize our products, driving group-wide impact across six European markets. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, working closely with Executive Leadership, Country Managers, Product, Sales, and Marketing to drive high-impact decisions under uncertainty, from definition to market rollout and measurable results. The position is unlimited and based in Munich. WHAT YOU’LL DO Own and continuously evolve pricing, packaging, and commercial models across products and countries Define and recommend value-based pricing architectures that balance revenue growth, customer value, and marketplace health Lead hypothesis-driven analyses on price elasticity, willingness-to-pay, segmentation, and scenarios Design and run pricing experiments, pilots, customer research, and A/B tests to support executive decisions Drive end-to-end execution from strategy to market rollout, performance tracking, and optimization Work closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure successful implementation in local markets Lead and develop a high-performing team of around five pricing and commercial strategy experts Act as the internal thought leader on pricing and monetization and contribute to C-level decision forums YOU COME WITH 5–8+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting or a highly analytical role with strong exposure to pricing, monetization, or digital business models Proven track record of leading complex, ambiguous initiatives with measurable business impact Strong quantitative background (e.g. economics, mathematics, computer science) and a deep interest in pricing and commercial strategy Ability to combine structured problem-solving with pragmatic execution and clear recommendations Confidence presenting to senior leaders, executives, and investors Strong cross-functional leadership skills and excellent communication skills in English High ownership mentality with a strong bias toward impact and execution Curious, driven mindset with motivation to build scalable solutions in a fast-moving digital environment A culture of growth.
