He or she will lead a team of category managers across a defined geography. The services delivered will span Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contracting, SRM and Spot Buy across a variety of Global Indirect Categories. This role frequently interacts with senior members of the client’s organization, so he or she must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable leading and participating in discussions across levels and cultures.In addition, he or she is also responsible for creating a positive work environment and fostering cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration. Key Responsibilities / Job Duties · Managing service delivery across geographies with a team of 50+ people · Ensuring overall program health and performance against metrics· Managing overall client relationships and deepening engagement · Managing the team’s hiring, objective setting, performance, career growth, training, and competency development· Acting as the escalation point for resolving operational and delivery related issues· Participating in firm-wide development initiatives across WNS Procurement· Collaborate with different teams across WNS Procurement to support solution design with subject matter expertise Required Education and Experience· Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred · 15 years of experience across strategic sourcing, category management, experience across indirect categories· 8+ years leading client delivery programs or procurement category teams Qualifications B school preferred
