POSITION OVERVIEW:

A world class, bad ass, makes your mother cry with joy product manager for Akka’s Agentic AI Platform solely focused on production personas responsible for operating Akka systems. You will be responsible for thought leadership, roadmap, and tooling that ensures every Akka customer thinks of their Day 2 concerns simply as “non-existent”.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Some of the many expectations for this unique individual:
1. An expert on, or an incredible * provable * overwhelming ** desire to become an expert on agentic AI. This includes understanding the nuances of LLMs, micro-reinforcement learning, ambient AI, streaming memory systems, augmenting real-time audio, designing networks of agents that plan and adapt, evaluation strategies, scaling AI, AI flow tracing, semantic memory, orchestration systems, and safety controls.
2. An obsessive, relentless approach to communicating, messaging, and positioning emerging technology towards architects, CIOs, developers, and IT delivery executives. If you aren’t thrilled by the idea of creating compelling narratives in slides, video, blogs, and papers, then you will not enjoy this role.

7. An intuitive understanding of the enterprise IT architecture and technology stack project and purchasing lifecycle. Prior experience in delivering world class digital experiences. A strong preference for those that have conceived of, built and launched multiple products that have garnered amazing customer, analyst, and user feedback.

• Product manager for Akka Platform, our environment that automates Day 2 operations in serverless, BYOC, and self-hosted configurations. This includes roadmap, pricing, packaging, enablement, and customer ownership.
• Product manager for all production-related behaviors that flow into the Akka console: elasticity, resilience, failover, disaster recovery, observability, tracing, evaluation, safety, security.
• Akka’s in-house resident expert on evaluation, guardians, and AI security — both how it must be incorporated during the creation of systems and day 2 evolution of AI systems that need to iteratively build certainty and confidence.
