Job Description As part of the SanDisk Global IT organization, this Director-level role places you at the forefront of a company-wide transformation to embed AI into core operations and product innovation. You will play a pivotal role in executing SanDisk’s enterprise AI strategy, with a focus on Generative AI (LLMs, agents), traditional ML, and data platform build-out. SanDisk is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead product strategy and execution for Enterprise Data and AI efforts that will enable teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and IT to build, deploy, and scale data‑driven and AI‑powered solutions on a shared, secure and unified data platform AIML and Generative AI stack. This role is responsible for platform vision, business stakeholder and functional engagement, roadmap ownership, and value delivery for core Enterprise Data and AI platform capabilities, working closely with Data & AI leadership, platform engineering teams, and business stakeholders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Roadmap Own the product roadmap for Enterprise Data and AI platform capabilities, aligned to enterprise priorities and platform maturity. Translate business needs and technical strategy into clear, prioritized product capabilities. Balance near‑term delivery with longer‑term platform evolution. Platform Product Management Lead product management for core platform areas, including: Data lakehouse and data products Semantic layer and enterprise data access AI/ML and GenAI platform foundations Agentic workflows and shared AI services Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure capabilities are scalable, secure, and production‑ready. Use Case Enablement & Value Drive the intake, prioritization, and lifecycle of enterprise AI and data use cases. Guide teams from proof‑of‑concept to productized, reusable solutions. Define success metrics and track business impact of AI‑enabled solutions. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Serve as the primary product partner to IT, Engineering, InfoSec, Legal, Procurement, and business teams. Ensure alignment with security, Responsible AI, and enterprise architecture standards. Communicate roadmap, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to senior stakeholders. Adoption & Experience Define the engagement model for developers, data scientists, and business users adopting Vortex. Partner with enablement and change teams to support onboarding, documentation, and adoption. Continuously improve developer and user experience. Team Leadership Lead and mentor a small team of product managers or product owners. Establish consistent product management practices, planning cadence, and execution discipline. Qualifications Required 15+ years of product management experience, including ownership of enterprise platforms or shared services. Experience with data platforms, AI/ML platforms, or developer platforms. Strong understanding of modern data architectures and AI/GenAI concepts. Proven ability to work effectively in matrixed, cross‑functional environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise data ecosystem and semi-conductor vertical Experience helping scale AI initiatives from pilots into production.
