REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving, decision-making, and relationship management.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience in scientific, governmental, or environmental data programs.
  • Familiarity with environmental domains such as air, water, waste, or conservation data.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, facilitation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Director, Program Management to lead enterprise-wide data governance, analytics, and modernization initiatives.
This senior leadership role will oversee the client’s data strategy, data architecture, governance, and advanced analytics to drive informed decision-making and improve program operations. The Director will also serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, guiding policy, innovation, and talent development in data management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Revitalize and implement the enterprise data and analytics strategy.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and practices.
  • Oversee data architecture and integration for scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Lead development of advanced analytics/data science capabilities.
  • Build and deliver data literacy training programs for staff.
  • Serve as the key liaison with leadership, policymakers, and external partners.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing data & analytics team.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools.
  • Define KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting for executive use.
