QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in project and program management
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, SAFe, ASPICE, etc.)
  • Familiarity with automotive standards (ASPICE, IATF 16949, APQP, ISO 21434)
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
  • Proficiency in PLM and project management tools
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong plus
Responsibilities
  • Leads the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Product Engineering Process (PEP), Project Management Process (PM) and the Global Change Management Process (CM) across all lifecycle phases.
  • Oversees project, portfolio, and resource management standards to ensure consistency, transparency, and strategic alignment.
  • Acts as the central governance authority for methodologies, tools, KPIs, and compliance with customer and regulatory standards (e.g. ASPICE, IATF 16949, APQP).
  • Provides cross-functional coordination between program management, engineering, operations, sales, purchasing and quality teams.
  • Ensures that customer requirements and expectations are met by enabling delivery excellence and lifecycle-wide process compliance.
  • Drives PMO maturity and capability development, including training, coaching, certification and stakeholder engagement.
  • Reports to senior leadership and delivers insights via portfolio dashboards, risk reports, and resource outlooks.
