Description Discover your exciting role In this position, you are responsible for ensuring governance and control over major engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. Your focus is on driving successful execution by managing risks and opportunities, conducting independent project reviews, and identifying potential cost and schedule impacts early. You enhance project performance by spotting adverse developments and leveraging opportunities. A seasoned and professional approach is essential, as you scrutinize project management and functional disciplines through site visits and documentation analysis. You report to the Project Director and work closely with project discipline leads, offering expert advice, unbiased risk assessments, and actionable improvement strategies. Additionally, you collaborate with Senior Management to support informed decision-making. Through these efforts, you help uphold Exyte’s reputation for delivering high-tech facilities on time and within budget. Explore your tasks and responsibilities Establish processes to identify, assess, and respond to project risks and opportunities, including site-walks to verify progress across all disciplines. Meet with key project personnel to discuss progress, cost reports, and potential issues. Review the Project Risk & Chance register and conduct independent risk assessments focusing on schedule and cost. Evaluate the impact and likelihood of identified risks and prepare scenarios. Promote risk-aware decision-making, consult with discipline leads, and provide recommendations to manage issues and improve performance. Partner with project leads and corporate functions to provide unbiased risk analysis and lead discussions on mitigation strategies. Ensure team alignment on objectives and risk tolerance, gather insights from the local team, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. Show your expertise Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; a Master's degree and/or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-RMP) is a plus. At least 10 years of project management experience in large-scale EPC/EPCM projects, including P&L responsibility. Excellent relationship manager and communicator, proficient in English and German (both written and verbal). Holistic view of EPC/EPCM projects with an understanding of interrelated processes and structures. Familiar with risk management methods, techniques, and tools like Riskonnect. Proficient in project management software, methodologies, and Microsoft Office. Strong conflict management, negotiation, and influencing skills; stress resilient, adaptable, autonomous, proactive, self-organized, with a "can do" mentality, and capable of interacting in a multicultural environment.
