The Role We are seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead and grow our sales team across the multiple states and markets. This is a high-impact Sales leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and developing top-performing sales talent. Location: Desert Southwest Region with preference in Arizona and Utah (Regional Travel Required) We’re looking for bold, entrepreneurial talent ready to help build something extraordinary — and reshape the future of building products distribution. What you'll do: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives to drive profitable above market growth and achievement of monthly/yearly sales and margin budgets for the New England market. Collaborate with Regional and District leadership to develop sales budgets, pricing strategies, and territory design Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and teamwork Support Outside Sales Representatives in building strong relationships with key accounts Lead the field execution of sales campaigns and product launches Maintain effective communication with Branch, Regional, and Executive Leadership to achieve common goals and drive results Continuously build market intelligence through local industry associations, events, and vendor relationships Leverage business technology and sales data to make informed business decisions Champion a safety-oriented culture within the organization, ensuring that all employees comprehend and strictly follow safety protocol and procedures What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to identify and develop talent, strong judgment, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills, mentorship and coaching capabilities, motivational leadership skills, positive and adaptable attitude, effective change management Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents, report and correspondence writing, and effective presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web conferencing Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills Previous operational experience, preferably in building materials, construction, or a related industry preferred Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills Strong business acumen and the ability to contribute strategically at the leadership table Ability to perform calculations, including percentages, discounts, and basic algebra and geometry concepts Problem-solving skills in varied situations, with the ability to interpret written and verbal instructions What you'll earn 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance PTO, company holidays, and parental leave Paid training and certifications Legal assistance and identity protection Pet insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
