Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Identify, design and manage the building of an AI Governance framework in collaboration with central team including AI policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Design and build AI Governance processes to ensure compliance and speed of innovation within the Center of Excellence
  • Lead responsible AI solution design ensuring AI Governance framework requirements are embedded into solutions upfront in collaboration with the AI business, and technical teams
  • Lead the development of a responsible AI strategy, including the creation of frameworks and principles that embed key design elements such as anonymization, access control, and guidelines for third-party partners and vendors
  • Lead the design of responsible AI within AI and data Infrastructure e.g. data governance, IT infrastructure, HW and software considerations.
  • Develop and implement risk management processes for AI projects, identifying potential risks, evaluating their impact, and designing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT, business units, cyber security, legal, data and data science teams to champion AI governance across the company.
  • Oversee data classification, access control, and data security practices for AI solutions in collaboration with data governance team
  • Monitor and report on AI governance metrics and Center of Excellence performance
  • Develop a plan and facilitate continuous increase in responsible AI capability e.g. ensuring all staff have basic understanding of AI governance framework, principles and design standards
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements concerning data and AI governance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advisor to senior leadership on Responsible AI issues and trends.
  • Communicate the AI Governance framework across the corporate
  • Lead the change management regarding incorporating AI Governance Framework adoption
  • Lead or contribute to research and innovation projects focused on advancing Responsible AI.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Qualifications :

  • Advance degree (Masters/PhD) in law, business law, or business, engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Ethics, IT, or a related field.
  • Preferably: Track record of continuous education/learning in areas such as big data, analytics, data science, ML, AI or digital transformation

Experience:

  • 10+ Proven experience working in business focused governance, audit, regulatory and security dimensions from role that require both design in a business context and control
  • 5+ experience within GCC region ideally from Telco
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of building business centric solutions
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience in developing and implementing data policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Experience in fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills to effectively manage stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to champion data governance initiatives and drive program adoption.
