QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified applicants will prove to be highly motivated and team-oriented with excellent leadership records. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong background in financial modeling, finance, and accounting as well as possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding project management skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
To be considered, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and extensive knowledge of and background in investment banking.
Expected annualized base salary range of $275,000.
The annual base salary range reflects the low and high targets of the estimated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary an employee in this role receives may vary depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: work location, job-related knowledge, and prior experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components.

Responsibilities

As a Director, you will work on a wide range of assignments playing a central role executing complex financial restructuring and liability management transactions. The Director-level position requires 5+ years of relevant investment banking experience. The ideal candidate will bring extensive technical expertise in restructurings, liability management, and special situations, along with strong client management and team leadership skills.

Director work will include, but is not limited to:

  • Lead day-to-day execution of restructuring mandates, including Chapter 11 filings, out-of-court restructurings, distressed M&A, liability management transactions, and financings;
  • Oversee preparation of financial models, business valuations, and other financial analyses;
  • Support Managing Directors and Partners in structuring transactions and presenting recommendations to boards, creditors, and stakeholders;
  • Review and refine pitch books, term sheets, marketing materials, and other client presentations;
  • Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, preparing marketing materials, and maintaining industry relationships;
  • Lead coordination efforts amongst various stakeholders during live engagements;
  • Manage junior bankers (analysts and associates) across multiple assignments, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development;
  • Provide mentorship and development to junior staff.
