Description Position Summary: The Director of Resupply is responsible for overseeing operations, driving efficiencies, and improving patient outcomes across the Resupply department. This role evaluates and enhances department functions, performance metrics, reporting systems, patient statuses, and staff competency. The Director collaborates directly with business stakeholders and partners to scale and optimize Resupply operations while ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive growth and improve patient outcomes Align departmental strategies with company goals Establish annual departmental goals and objectives aligned with organizational strategic goals Drive achievement of organizational performance goals Management and Supervision Recruit, hire, and onboard qualified staff with comprehensive training and regular feedback Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise job results Coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards Achieve organizational performance and retention goals, including timely completion of performance evaluations Develop staff competency and performance capabilities Operational Management Collaborate directly with business partners to understand operational needs and implement improvements Work with department team members to explain systems logic and optimize operations Maintain efficient and effective department operations Develop and implement reporting strategies, updates, and efficiency improvements across the department Adhere to reporting and update schedules to maintain operational efficiency and positive patient and business outcomes Training and Communication Provide training and communication regarding all operational process changes to location staff members Ensure consistent understanding of systems and processes across the department Compliance and Regulatory Adherence Maintain patient confidentiality and function within HIPAA guidelines Complete assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required Maintain compliance with AdaptHealth's Compliance Program and applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols Ensure department operations meet all state, federal, and local regulatory requirements Product and Service Knowledge Develop and maintain working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company Perform other related duties as assigned and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position Compliance & General Responsibilities: Maintain patient confidentiality and function within HIPAA guidelines Complete assigned compliance training and educational programs as required Maintain compliance with AdaptHealth's Compliance Program and applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols Develop and maintain working knowledge of current products and services Perform other related duties logically inherent to the position Competency, Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership abilities with proven team management experience Excellent communication and presentation skills Results-driven with a focus on achieving high performance Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment Deep understanding of resupply systems and logic Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to analyze and work with complex data sets Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, as well as Snowflake Solid ability to learn new technologies and possess the technical aptitude required to understand data flow through systems and system interaction Requirements Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Three (3) years of leadership experience managing a team or department required Relevant experience in health care administrative, financial, insurance customer services, claims, billing, home health and/or medical terminology training preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment: Work environment will be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods of time Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers due to extensive computer use Mental ability to lead others and change processes in a fast-paced work environment Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing Must be able to travel as needed Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with internal and external customers with the ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy
