Our 164-bed inpatient services for adolescents through senior adulthood offers comprehensive and individual assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy and personalized aftercare planning. We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients. Our ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking skills, great communication skills with the ability to engage positively with patients, staff, families, providers, etc., must work well under pressure with several competing priorities and maintain professionalism at all times.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the application of regulatory standards established by NC DHHS, The Joint Commission and CMS applicable to acute care hospitals.
- Able to work collaboratively, diplomatically, and with integrity in problem identification, project management, and problem solving activities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ethical principles and compliance issues in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated basic understanding of medical terminology.
- Strong facilitation skills with proven ability in leading and facilitating teams to desired outcomes.
- Effective interpersonal skills necessary to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and communicate, facilitate, and negotiate with a wide variety of healthcare personnel and external constituents.
- Demonstrated ability to manage by influence in a consultative role.
- Ability to work independently, exercise appropriate action and good business judgement.
- Demonstrates the ability to execute strategies based on hospital priorities.
- Ability to lead and motivate individuals and groups toward the accomplishment of organizational goals.
- Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, integrity and diplomacy.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database systems.
