REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 15+ years of professional experience in large banks with a strong focus on Risk Technology.
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing multiple concurrent project deliveries.
• Strong expertise in Python (mandatory).
• Familiarity with credit risk metrics (e.g., VaR, sVar, stress testing, Counterparty Credit Risk, sensitivity analysis).
• Experience with market data sources, financial instruments, and trading systems.
• Exposure to frontend JavaScript technologies.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and distributed computing frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, set deadlines, and communicate effectively in a demanding environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies and tools such as JIRA and MS Project.
• BA/BS degree required.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with Azure Cloud Computing.
• Hands-on exposure to Databricks and AI/ML technologies.
• Knowledge of financial operations, controls management, MIS, and reporting processes in commercial and investment banking.

We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead (Director level) to join our Risk Technology Group. This individual will play a key leadership role in developing, implementing, and overseeing technology solutions that support credit risk management and contribute to the firm’s credit transformation initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage teams delivering multiple high-priority initiatives within Risk Technology.
• Drive the design and implementation of technology solutions supporting credit risk management.
• Apply business and technical expertise to guide strategic decision-making, project execution, and long-term planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to optimize technology outcomes while maintaining strong operational and cyber risk controls.
• Represent the firm’s technology vision in internal presentations, client discussions, and industry benchmarking activities.
• Motivate and inspire teams through effective leadership, vision-setting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining accountability for budgets, resources, and governance controls.
