EDUCATION:

Bachelors in Finance or Accounting required
Masters preferred
CPA Certification preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

5 to 7 years in a financial role
Health care experience strongly preferred

In this role primary responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the preparation and review of the monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparation, presentation and monitoring of the annual operating budget revenues and expenses
• Supervise the DSS reporting system
• Preparation, submission and assist the auditing of the annual Medicare Medicaid Cost Report
• Research Federal reimbursement issues as needed
• Preparation, submission and assist the auditing of the annual NJ State Chapter 83 SHARE Cost Report
• Monitor NJ State reimbursement issues including subsidies
• Produce monthly statistical reports and monitor statistics on a regular basis
• Review and evaluate employee and agency requisitions
• Strata training and management of the hospitals budget system
• Partnering with the grant financial personnel to facilitate oversite of the hospital’s grants and preparation of the OMB Circular A-133 reporting schedule
