GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Working under the guidance and direction of the Director of Logistics, the Assistant provides advice and support in various administrative activities and initiatives inherent to the director as well as the support activities required by the departments, while providing timely follow-up to the different high-impact metrics in the department to ensure that they are aligned with corporate objectives and the BRP philosophy.

  • Bilingual (Spanish – English)
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Microsoft skills (Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • High level of motivation and problem solving.
  • SAP (Desirable)
  • Power BI, looker studio (Desirable)
  • Problem solving tools
  • BRPMS (methodologies, VSM, scope)

Responsibilities
  • Administrative tasks
  • Assist in department travel reservations.
  • Assist in travel plans for visitors when they come to Mexico.
  • Prepare reports
  • Conduct various analyses related to the different metrics of the department that may involve various data modeling scenarios and identify the impact on costs and/or productivity.
  • Provide the necessary data and analysis to the team.
  • Support the start-up of new initiatives from project management to implementation, championing the change through communication of the initiative.
  • May support other team members in data generation and report compilation as needed.
  • Perform other related tasks, responsibilities, and qualifications as required and/or assigned.
  • Monitor actions regarding quality and productivity metrics outside the goal.
  • Participate in the generation of continuous improvement strategies, training, follow-up.
  • Specific projects related to problem solving.
  • Coordination of meetings and workshops (presentation, follow-up to actions, documentation)
  • Management of confidential information.
  • Standardization and alignment with other departments.
  • Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their function in relation to ISO 9001:2015.
  • Comply with the safety rules determined according to their function.
  • Comply on time with the planned training related to Quality and Training.
  • Identify and report any issues regarding quality and compliance and support corrective actions.
