This highly collaborative, hands-on role oversees both the sales and marketing functions, ensuring alignment across all customer acquisition and retention initiatives. You will lead an in-office team, leveraging data, industry insights, and cross-departmental collaboration to generate qualified leads, optimize conversion rates, and support the company’s continued growth. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of modern marketing practices, and a proven track record of building high-impact sales strategies that translate into measurable business outcomes.   Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth * Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that drive lead generation, increase conversion rates, and support long-term client retention. * Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and revenue goals. * Provide oversight and guidance on pricing strategies, prospect engagement, and sales pipeline management. * Monitor competitive positioning, industry trends, and customer insights to inform go-to-market strategies. * Support and equip the sales team with effective tools, collateral, and training resources. Marketing Leadership & Brand Management * Design and lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and experiential channels. * Manage the corporate marketing calendar to ensure timely and strategic deployment of initiatives tied to seasonality, brand priorities, and business needs. * Oversee website management, content strategy, and digital performance optimization, ensuring strong SEO, UX, and lead generation capabilities. * Maintain and enforce brand standards across all external-facing platforms and materials. * Represent the organization at industry events, expos, open houses, and partner functions as needed. Team Leadership & Department Oversight * Lead, manage, and develop both the sales and marketing teams with a focus on performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. * Establish KPIs and track performance metrics to drive operational efficiency and team alignment. * Recruit, onboard, and train new team members in alignment with company values and expectations. * Promote a collaborative and professional team culture that supports cross-functional success. Partnerships & Public Relations * Cultivate and manage relationships with venue partners, community organizations, media contacts, and key vendors. * Oversee public-facing communications, including reputation management and response to client feedback. * Monitor online review platforms and manage the company’s digital reputation with professionalism and strategic intent.   Required Qualifications * Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a senior sales and/or marketing role, preferably in catering, hospitality, events, or related industries. * Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and deliver measurable results. * Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Caterease, TripleSeat, or Zoho. * Experience with marketing automation and campaign platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact). * Strong command of CMS platforms (WordPress, Wix) and digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads). * Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello). * Experience with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or equivalent. * Demonstrated success in both strategy development and tactical execution.   Additional Notes * Able to lift and push up to 50+ pounds (rare) * Able to spend long periods sitting or sedentary.   Salary: $65,000-$85,000 DOQ   Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, with benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Life, Accident and Disability, Employee Assistance Program, Paid Time Off, additional Incentives and Rewards for employees, and a strong company culture   Department: Marketing Job Status: Exempt – Full Time   Schedule: Standard office hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
