Job Description

Responsibilities

The Sales Readiness Director will enable sales representatives and leaders to quickly and effectively apply training, and engage with clients in real-world scenarios. This role involves collaborating with the CEMEA Digital Sales team, CEMEA functional partners, and the global Digital Sales enablement team to develop and implement practical, data-driven solutions aimed at transforming the sales processes for Digital Sellers and Business Development Representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with members of the CEMEA Digital Sales team to enhance their practical understanding of Visa products and sales strategies through real-world application
  • Localize and execute digital sales readiness and enablement strategy, including onboarding and regional initiatives
  • Lead engaging and effective employee onboarding and advanced live training sessions
  • Provide real-time coaching on lead management, prospecting, objection handling, deal strategy, negotiation, and tools training
  • Organize and facilitate effective sales skills workshops to improve seller performance
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization through technology and operational design
  • Support targeted sales programs to increase pipeline and revenue
  • Analyze data to report on the effectiveness of readiness initiatives and refine training needs
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to align stakeholders behind a regional sales readiness and enablement calendar.
  • Ensure relevant value propositions for customer segments and facilitate their practical application by the Digital Sales team.
  • Promote the sharing of best practices across the region.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications

Basic:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to deliver both in-person and virtual training to diverse, multi-cultural teams
  • Enthusiasm for teaching, and the ability to deliver engaging, practical training sessions while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Prior experience in a full-cycle sales role, sales readiness, or related field with a focus on onboarding and skills development
  • Experience coaching and delivering value selling or solution selling programs aligned to a sales methodology
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills, with the ability to engage teams and leaders across various levels in the organization
  • Commitment to ongoing improvement
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives and prioritize effectively
  • Analytical skills with experience in a commercial environment
  • For internal candidates: intimately familiar with Visa’s product catalogue and can work consultatively with those teams to bring the right value propositions into the Digital Sales engine

Preferred:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Experience with a sales learning & engagement platform (i.e. Highspot)
