About the Role:
Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting is seeking an exceptional Sales Director to drive and lead the sales teams for its EMEA South Region of Italy and Spain.
Embark on an influential journey as a Sales Director, where you will lead senior managers and high-level professionals to achieve exceptional results. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the performance and outcomes of a significant business area, driving strategic initiatives that maximize our market presence and revenue growth. Your vision and leadership will be vital in navigating our organization toward future success.
Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for driving sales growth of our portfolio of software products and services in the Region.

  • Generate unique sales strategy, to plan and meet Sales objectives.
  • Assign and achieve sales revenue targets and key objectives.
  • Define software sales strategy and execution plan.
  • Build a robust opportunity pipeline and establish long-term business relationships with selected high-revenue/growth customers and partners.
  • Drive KPIs measurements and analyze trends.
  • Create and develop sales operations process management, including opportunity management and forecasting.
  • Regular review of sales opportunities and account business plans as well as manage the monthly revenue forecast.
  • Work with the Business Unit product management and engineering teams to ensure that we build the right products and solutions that aligns with our customer needs.
  • Providing inspirational leadership and driving organization growth and change. Hiring and developing talent.
  • Can demonstrate a general technical understanding to establish credibility with customers and/or internal partners.

Your skill - set and qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree minimum from a leading University or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of sales with 5+ years people management responsibilities. Experience in selling software products.
  • Experience of managing a software sales organization.
  • As a senior sales leader, demonstrated experience and track record in building new software product license/subscription revenues is needed.
  • Track record of successfully growing revenue for new innovative technology software based solutions.
  • Experience of pricing strategies, channel sales, and negotiation tactics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in influencing business practices and products to better align with customer needs.
  • As a person, we believe your enthusiasm and expertise do easily inspire people around you and motivates your team in a successful manner.
  • We are looking for a good listener with a coaching and transparent way of leading.
  • Italian and English fluency is a must.
  • Experience of working in an international environment.
  • Domain knowledge of the market of Tax and Accounting is a plus.
