Some Key Responsibilities of this position- The duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following. Plan, develop, schedule, and/or provide in-service training and evaluation of childcare staff. Recruit and schedule children for the school; maintain accurate records on children enrolled in the program to include their development, attendance, immunization and general health. Conduct program registration, and maintain appropriate files and waiting lists. Confer with parents on a regular basis to discuss the development of their enrolled children. Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the program. Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities. Establish routines and provide positive guidance. Maintains accurate and timely educational assessments and progress notes for all assigned students. Maintains ratios at all times, keeps attendance records of children throughout the day. Conduct parent observations and tours. Conduct/attend all required Teacher In-Service days. Manage CRM software. Maintain employee data and timecards in Payroll/Human Resource Platform (Paylocity) Participate in Mentor/Mentee program and training program. Why Apple Montessori Schools? Requirements Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree required, in Education or with Education-related courses. Management experience required. Must complete Montessori Certification within the first two years of hire. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certified. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate and maintain working relationships with all levels of staff. English literate. Ability to multitask in a school setting. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Computer literacy in Office Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based applications, and proficient in the use of office equipment. Procare, Paylocity, Monday.com experience a plus Working and Physical Demands- Office based, requires full range of body motion including; bending, sitting, and standing through the required hour work day. May require working under stressful conditions, and requires flexibility in response to staffing needs. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include planning, developing, and evaluating childcare staff training, as well as managing student recruitment, registration, and maintaining accurate enrollment and health records. The director will also confer with parents regularly regarding child development and plan/implement culturally appropriate activities to meet children's needs.
