About the Role VectorUSA is searching for a visionary Director of Security Operations to design, lead, and scale our global SOC strategy. As a senior cybersecurity leader, you’ll define operational direction, shape security posture, and lead a team of managers and analysts in proactive defense against evolving threats. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and executive oversight for all SOC functions. Define and execute long-term SOC roadmap encompassing tools, people, and processes. Lead managers and cross-functional teams across threat detection, intelligence, and response. Serve as a senior escalation point for major incidents, ensuring rapid containment and recovery. Partner with CISO and executive leadership to align cybersecurity strategy with business goals. Develop KPIs, dashboards, and governance to measure and mature operational effectiveness. Drive compliance with industry frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls). Lead talent development and foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Required Qualifications 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 5+ years in senior SOC or operations leadership. Proven track record building and scaling SOC capabilities at the enterprise level. Deep expertise in incident management, threat intelligence, and security technologies. Strong communication and executive reporting skills. CISM, CISSP, or equivalent senior-level certification required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in strategic planning and budget management. Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and regulatory frameworks. Experience in large or regulated organizations.
