Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership - Define and execute a 2–3 year strategic roadmap for selection planning aligned with Coupang’s retail and customer experience goals. - Lead cross-functional initiatives with engineering, product, catalog, and business teams to accelerate selection onboarding and improve catalog quality. Operational Excellence - Design and implement scalable SOPs, SLAs, and quality assurance frameworks to drive consistency and efficiency. - Introduce automation and tooling enhancements to eliminate defects and reduce manual effort. - Conduct operational audits and establish feedback loops to continuously improve processes. Data-Driven Decision Making - Analyze internal performance metrics and external market trends to identify selection gaps and opportunities. - Translate insights into actionable strategies that improve selection coverage and customer satisfaction. Team & Culture Building - Build and lead high-performing teams of managers and operators (50+), fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Mentor future leaders and drive succession planning across the organization. Customer-Centric Innovation - Ensure all selection planning initiatives are designed with the customer in mind, improving discoverability, relevance, and shopping experience. - Collaborate with retail and product teams to align selection strategy with customer demand signals. Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or catalog management roles. - Proven ability to lead large teams and cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments. - Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and root cause analysis. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership. - Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and delivering measurable business outcomes.
