THE CHALLENGE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Software Engineering to lead our AI Governance team. This role is pivotal in guiding the strategic vision, technical excellence, and operational efficiency of one of the fastest-growing products in our company. The Director will be tasked with leading a software engineering team, and in ensuring the successful execution of our ambitious roadmap and maintaining our position at the forefront of AI technology.

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical background in AI and software development. Experience working with one or more of the following cloud data platforms: Databricks, Snowflake etc. Full life-cycle experience using ML/AI Ops systems like AWS Sagemaker or Google Vertex. Experience building and scaling large cloud native distributed systems. Exposure to AI governance or Privacy domain is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to provide strategic direction and align team efforts with company goals.
  • Innovation: Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Excellence: Experience in ensuring scalability and reliability of core services and platform integrations.
