Purpose of the Position: Are you a strategic communications leader who thrives at the intersection of PR, marketing, and creative operations? Do you excel at building bold narratives, leading high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence? We are looking for a Director to lead our integrated PR, marketing, and creative services function. This is a senior leadership role that spans three interconnected disciplines: PR and communications, marketing and brand, and creative operations. You will serve as a trusted client partner, a creative storyteller, a brand champion, and an operational architect — all in one. As a Director, you will manage complex, multi-channel communications programmes, oversee brand and marketing execution, and ensure the creative engine of the agency runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities: Communications Strategy & Execution Serve as the senior day-to-day client lead, managing multi-channel communications programmes with accuracy and strategic discipline Build and grow relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and influencers across Singapore and the region; develop proactive storytelling strategies that drive the desired narrative Oversee earned media strategy and execution, including media partnerships, award submissions, and industry recognition initiatives Implement integrated communications campaigns, assess performance, and ensure flawless execution across all channels Identify digital and social communication trends; educate clients and internal teams to inform strategic direction Detect and mitigate potential issues or disruptions in client business environments Business Development Lead preparation and delivery of new business proposals and in-person pitch meetings Drive organic account growth and diversification; identify and pursue cross-account and global business opportunities Present operational insights and creative capabilities to prospective clients to support new business wins Monitor the competitive landscape to identify and qualify new business opportunities worth pursuing Marketing & Brand Develop and oversee compelling content across multiple formats — thought leadership, microvideos, infographics, whitepapers, and social content — ensuring brand consistency across all channels Drive the agency’s social media presence and support senior executives in building strong LinkedIn profiles that amplify their expertise Uncover industry trends and competitor insights to elevate marketing strategies and keep the agency’s brand ahead of the curve Establish and maintain marketing performance dashboards and reporting systems to track effectiveness and inform decision-making Creative Operations Design and optimise end-to-end creative workflows from brief to delivery, establishing standardised processes for project management and quality control Oversee strategic resource planning and allocation across creative teams to maximise efficiency and output quality Lead vendor relationship management, including evaluation, onboarding, and performance frameworks for creative partners and freelancers Manage budgets and track utilisation to ensure all programmes are delivered on time, on brief, and within scope People Leadership Mentor, motivate, and develop direct reports with a focus on retention, career growth, and cross-functional capability Oversee staffing, hiring, and onboarding of new talent across PR, marketing, and creative functions Partner with HR to manage employee relations; hold the team accountable to demonstrating agency values Manage upwards and keep senior leadership informed on client, team, and operational developments Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in communications, PR, or marketing — preferably in an agency setting — with 3–4 years of people management experience Demonstrated experience managing integrated marketing campaigns, brand programmes, and content strategies Strong understanding of the Asian media landscape with established relationships with Singapore-based media and journalists Demonstrated expertise in digital and social media storytelling, including community management and influencer engagement Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments, with a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement Familiarity with creative production workflows, project management tools, and digital asset management systems Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills with strong executive presence Fluency in English required; a second regional language such as Mandarin is a bonus Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; Adobe Creative Suite and data visualisation tools are a bonus Equal Opportunity: WE provides equal employment opportunity and does not discriminate against an employee or applicant because of age, race, color, religion, gender, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or other legally protected class status.
