WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE:
The Director, Special Projects is responsible for leading and driving critical financial and accounting projects that support the company’s growth in high-performance computing and bitcoin mining. The individual will manage multiple projects gathering data, compiling thoughtful analysis, developing financial models to support project viability and coordinating with other corporate functions to present thorough analyses and recommendations. The individual will also be tasked with leading the execution or implementation of the projects efficiently and effectively.
The role reports directly to the CFO with close interaction and support from the SVP Finance and accounting and collaborates with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
MORE SPECIFICALLY, HERE ARE SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director will manage comprehensive and detailed project plans for strategic initiatives including capital raising, financial reporting practices and processes, integration of mergers and acquisitions, spin offs, overseeing cost management programs and forecasting and budget tracking. The Director will lead the end-to-end management of major financial projects, including scoping, planning, resource allocation and execution, analyze complex financial data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and Board of Directors.
