REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Proven ability to establish new relationships with large size prospective customers and lead sales strategy on an opportunity basis
  • Proven track record of success in building a book of business
  • Experience in identifying new targets with sales entrance strategies
  • Experience with negotiation and problem-solving in a client-facing role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
  • Outstanding communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Sales activity will be focused on senior level decision makers within larger prospects that ship specialized, heavy haul or projects
  • Prospect new customers through various channels, including phone, email, visits, conferences, etc.
  • Drive Bridgeway’s value proposition and capabilities to gain interest
  • In-person consultative discovery discussion with prospects to learn more about their company, supply chain and strategy.
  • Collaborate with pricing, legal, marketing, credit and both motor carrier & brokerage offices to align resources to new opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling solutions for prospective customers that create sustainable value
  • Act as the liaison between the company and prospect during the negotiation process
  • Align new customers to account management during onboarding
  • Continued relationship building and selling to new customers after onboarding
  • Closely work with operations, account management and other management to ensure mutual success from the customer and Bridgeway Connects.
  • Log all sales related activity into company CRM.
  • Achieve annual revenue goal objectives, in line with provided guidance with new business targets as established by Chief Commercial Officer
  • This position is primarily an outside sales role meeting with potential prospects and new customers which may require up to 30% business travel.
