Job Summary The Senior Director of Enterprise Applications is a strategic and visionary technology leader responsible for defining, governing, and executing the enterprise-wide strategy for core business applications. This role owns the multi-year roadmap for Finance, Supply Chain, EPM, and related platforms, with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, ensuring alignment with business priorities, scalability, and long-term value creation. As a senior leader, the Sr. Director provides executive sponsorship for ERP cloud transformation initiatives, including migration, modernization, and optimization efforts. The role oversees global application delivery and support organizations, sets standards for operational excellence, and ensures high availability, performance, and user satisfaction across mission-critical systems. Serving as a key partner to business and technology leadership, the Sr. Director drives continuous improvement in application capabilities, support models, and user experience, while establishing strong governance for vendor management, escalation management, and service delivery. Through close collaboration with stakeholders across regions and functions, this role ensures enterprise applications enable efficient operations, data-driven decision-making, and sustains business growth Job Contributions and Key Responsibilities Enterprise Strategy & Transformation Leadership Define and own the multi-year enterprise roadmap for Enterprise Applications, ensuring tight alignment with corporate strategy, growth objectives, and operational priorities. Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, shaping digital transformation initiatives that drive business agility, scalability, automation, and measurable enterprise value. Lead the enterprise-wide adoption of AI/ML capabilities across core business applications, ensuring responsible, secure, and value-driven deployment. Provide executive leadership for Oracle Cloud Fusion migration strategy, including business case development, risk management, value realization, and long-term platform optimization. Partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, and other business leaders to translate business strategies into scalable, future-ready technology solutions. Sponsor and govern business process reengineering initiatives, driving simplification, standardization, usability, and enterprise adoption. Oversee the development of advanced analytics, dashboards, and reporting platforms to enable real-time insights, executive decision-making, and strategic planning. Lead and govern large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs using SDLC, Stage-Gate, Agile, and hybrid delivery models as appropriate. Own portfolio-level governance, including investment prioritization, budgeting, capacity planning, risk management, and ROI tracking across enterprise initiatives Organization, Talent & Partner Leadership Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global organization of application leaders, solution architects, analysts, and engineering teams. Establish a strong leadership bench, succession plans, and capability development aligned to future enterprise needs Set strategic direction and oversee relationships with software vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers, including contract negotiations, performance management, and value optimization Act as a visible, trusted leader with a strong executive presence, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a results-driven culture. Governance, Risk & Compliance Ensure Enterprise Applications consistently meet cybersecurity, regulatory, audit, and data privacy requirements across geographies. Establish and enforce enterprise policies and controls for application lifecycle management, change management, quality assurance, data governance, and privacy. Champion governance awareness across the organization, ensuring all AI and data initiatives align with internal standards and external regulations. Application & Platform Oversight Provide executive ownership for the design, deployment, reliability, and evolution of mission-critical enterprise platforms. Ensure systems are architected with robust governance controls, including encryption, role-based access, auditing, logging, and privacy-by-design principles, while remaining extensible for continuous AI innovation. Oversee end-to-end delivery of data and application solutions, from roadmap planning and funding through execution, release, and value realization. Drive continuous improvement in monitoring, anomaly detection, performance management, and operational resilience across application and data platforms. Define, track, and report enterprise KPIs for system reliability, data accuracy, governance compliance, user adoption, workflow throughput, and business impact. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of Agricultural farming practices and processes Knowledge of Software Development, Implementation, and Support Extensive hands-on experience and functional knowledge of Oracle ERP, including experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations, migrations, or major upgrades. Proven success leading ERP transformations, cloud migrations, and enterprise applications. Proven experience in building and managing high-performing teams responsible for enterprise applications. Demonstrated expertise in advanced analytics, business intelligence, and reporting, including experience with BI tools (e.g., Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI) Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, AI/ML integration, and analytics platforms. Strong track record of successful vendor management, contract negotiation, and managing large-scale software licensing portfolios. Strategic thinking, vision, and leadership abilities, with a strong executive presence. Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse functional areas. Education Level: Bachelor’s degree Field/s of Education: Information Technology or related or an equivalent combination of education. Years of Experience: 20+ Years of progressive experience in Information Technology with at least 10 years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications. Specializations, Certifications and Specific Experience: Experience with Agricultural farming practices and processes.
