Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President of Staffing, this position is principally responsible for:

  • Providing overall leadership of the Program Management (PM) function, developing and leading a highly effective and cohesive PM team to serve business needs and deliver on priorities
  • Optimizing resource utilization (staffing) and associated costs and revenue management
  • Overseeing directly staffing, professional development support for General Consulting SMAPs
  • Leading and driving continuous improvement and implementation of staffing, talent management and professional development practices

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Office Head to optimise commercial outcomes for the business, tracking, reporting and strategizing on appropriate staffing and investment trade-offs. Reporting to the region and globe as necessary
  • Optimizing resource utilization and associated cost and revenue management
  • Working with other program managers to staff balanced, high performing teams (from Associate Consultant to Associate Partner) across the Australian cluster, optimizing the trade-offs between client service, utilization, professional development and retention.
  • Coordinating with regional and global staffing teams to manage and support client and IP demands, and share best practices
  • Managing talent pipeline through internal transfers, onboarding, retention, leave of absences, flexible working options and performance management strategies
  • Overseeing directly staffing, professional development for General Consulting Senior Managers and Associate Partners (SMAPs)
  • First point of contact for Partners and SMAPS on staffing and professional development topics
  • Developing, leading and evolving as necessary the performance management team, as well as broader Human Capital team as a senior leader
  • Communications and stakeholder engagement on staffing and professional development strategies, policies and activities
  • Driving performance review and promotion process for consulting staff
  • Liaising with ECD leaders and program managers to ensure coordinated staffing of integrated teams
